OF PORT CITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Port City Christian Church reached 55 years of God’s faithfulness, grace, and love. For over five decades, our church has been a place of worship, spiritual growth, service and community.
Our church was first called the 'Assemblies of God' (AOG) Church. The name was then changed to 'Gladstone Christian Family Centre' before becoming our current name, 'Port City Christian Church'.
From humble beginnings, the first meeting was held at the Country Women's Association (CWA) Hall on Oaka Lane, Gladstone, followed by many years in our first purpose-built building on Tudman Street, Gladstone. Growth in the congregation led to a move to the Gladstone Senior Citizens Building for one year before relocating to our current building on McCann Street, Gladstone.
Praying diligently, serving wholeheartedly and leading faithfully were key values of those who supported the church God has blessed in so many ways.
We gratefully acknowledge the pastors, staff, volunteers, and community who throughout these years have served as God’s hand and feet through the ministry of this church.
We give honour to our past, rejoice in the present, and look forward with hope to the future God has prepared.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CELEBRATED WITH US ON SUNDAY, 13 JUNE 2026
